-: Discovery. Using the new Nexus-5 observatory, located at the L-5 point between Earth and Luna, NASA scientists create a rough map of planet PCX-1135 -- orbiting Ross 154, less than 10 light years from Sol. The presense of an Earth-like biosphere and atmosphere is confirmed and a rough map of continents is made. The planet is renamed Annyrion, in honor of the astronomer Annyri Dalal.
-: The first exploration ship reaches Annyrion, landing at the place where Annyrion City will be founded later.
-: First expeditions to explore continents of Lopanga and Kahokia.
-: First settlements are estabished with backing from Luna and Mars.  Annyrion City founded. Port Annakis starts with the extension of an Eisshari village. Early settlers rename Ross 154 and dub it Thinora. The "golden twenties" begin: the decade when the first generation of recoms came to Annyrion. Only few of the original explorers, settlers and colonists survive until today, and they are celebrated as pioneers.
-: A crew of leonines comes to the conclusion that the savannah of Lopanga will be a good living space for their species. They decide to settle down there, soon thereafter a good number of leonines decides to follow them. They successfully introduce various animals of African origin, previously kept at Sigma Dome, as well as preserved in genetic archives, around Lake Upemba.
-: Refugees and outcasts, squatters and claim-jumpers with less resources and organization than the main colony decide to make their new home at an old native settlement in the southern desert, founding Epiphyte City. Their abandoned spaceship becomes a hub around which the early city grows.
-: Her Holiness Hekatawy I (AUS), first Nisut of what will become the Kemetic Orthodox Church, arrives in Lopanga with a small group of followers. She declares Lopanga to be the promised land of New Kemet and establishes a settlement at Abydos. The Kemetic cult begins to grow.
-: Dr. Otto de Lansur, discredited by the scientific community in Sol System for his radical ideas, establishes an agronomy research station near Epiphyte, and begins developing food crops adapted to the prevailing conditions of Lopanga. Many plants from Earth are introduced into the environment, some of which thrive and displace native species.
-: Annyrion Coalition is founded. The Peacekeeper Division starts as a central security force after crime and piracy start to skyrocket.
-: Hekatawy I dies. Nyma'athap, a markedly charismatic figure, becomes the new Nisut and leads the church through its most rapid period of growth for nearly two decades that follow.
-: Dr. de Lansur explores the jungles of western Lopanga and conducts the first scientific investigation of the semi-sentient, animate plants that are native to Annyrion.
-: Annyrion City suffers considerable damage from an earthquake.
-: Mezcal is first distilled in the Cadmar Desert. Within a generation, many thousands of acres will be devoted to cultivation of maguey.
-: Fleet Division, being somewhat more complicated than simple policing squads, started.
-: Dr. de Lansur raises the first generation of genetically "uplifted" plant creatures, which he calls Odontonians. When revealed to the public, they cause a sensation. Although Odontonians are far more advanced than their wild ancestors, and equal to recom intellect in at least some respects, Dr. de Lansur seems unsatisfied and continues his research.
-: Construction of the main rail line from Annyrion City to Port Annakis is completed. Completion of the western line will require several more years, due to mountainous terrain.
-: Regular ferry services established between Port Annakis and Roaring Coast.
-: Dr. de Lansur creates a single highly advanced being that chimerically combines biological elements from both Annyrion and Earth species. He names her Columbine, and she will grow to become his lab assistant and research collaborator.
-: Port Annakis is devastated by a typhoon.
-: The first zeppelin route is established from Epiphyte to the Upemba Region, and soon is extended to Port Annakis.
-: A large volcanic eruption on the Kahokia continent casts a pall of ash into Annyrion's atmosphere, causing the climate to turn sharply cooler for the next five years. Agricultural productivity suffers.
-: The first Temple of Bast in Epiphyte is destroyed by fire.

-: First relics of the Dallen civilization are found in a remote mountainous region of Inaria. Archeologists conclude that Dallen were not native to Annyrion, but the site instead represents either a lost expedition or a failed colony. Where the Dallens originated and why they died out remains the subect of debate among scholars.
-: The new Temple of Bast is completed in Epiphyte.
-: Columbine enters a dormant state, taking root and becoming inanimate. Whether she will ever awaken again is a mystery. Her home is preserved, and she is watered and tended regularly.
-: Corruption and inefficiency of Epiphyte's police forces spur the rise of vigilante groups. These merge to become The Ghueri, which function as a combination of neighborhood watch, sheriff's posse, and lynch mob. They keep violent crime off the streets, but also serve as a counterweight against the security forces of Epiphyte's aristocracy.

-October 2, 2203:  The Coalition scoutship Shadowfax explodes while transiting the Thinora system jumpgate to hyperspace.  Chancellor Soliero and a small contingent of officers and enlisteds are presumed dead, as the debris field of Shadowfax is quickly dispersed through hyperspace.  Shadowfax had just finished an overhaul in the shipyard following combat action, and had not undergone the usual period of post-overhaul engineering trials.  On another note, no reason is discovered for Soliero’s taking of that particular ship, when she had access to a personal spacecraft.
-October 3, 2203:  Hagalaz, the Coalition’s Peacekeeper Commissioner, is elected to the office of Chancellor, following an emergency session of the Coalition Council in which the required two-thirds vote was narrowly passed.  In his inauguration speech, he rescinds the executive order that imposed the naval blockade of Epiphyte Spaceport, and calls for diplomatic talks between all factions in known space.
-November 11, 2203:  A brief naval skirmish occurs in Thinora System, near Gateway Station.  SDFS Paladin, under the command of Admiral Lightwing, had entered the system with the intention of arresting FireFox, former pirate and current senior officer of the Lopanga Confederacy’s space navy, and was discovered by the Coalition frigate Dallenhome, which was investigating “sensor anomalies” in the sector.  After negotiations break down, a firefight between Savage Rose, under command of FireFox, and Paladin ensues.  Dallenhome, in support of Savage Rose in her role as a legitimate agent of the Lopanga Confederacy, opens fire on Paladin with an experimental laser weapon, inflicting severe damage.  At the end of the encounter, Paladin is towed to the jumpgate, and is towed back to Sol System.
-NOTES: This is heavy on events in the Lopanga and Epiphyte region, especially in the story of Dr. Otto de Lansur and the growth of the Kemetic Church. These are things I've thought about for a long time, and now they can be told. It would be great to fill in some similar stories about the Inaria colony, as well as the lions. I don't know enough about them to feel comfortable inventing that, so I hope other players will step forward with suggestions.
-I would like to chart more details about when and how Inaria (and AC) becomes independent from Sol System, since they were the original backers of the colony. Did AC gain independence in 2166? Or was there a period between independence and formation of the modern AC?
-What about the Eisshari? Did we write them out of the story? IMO, we should either write them out completely or write in more events for them: How do they respond to the invasion of their world by recoms? How do they adapt to the new technology they are being exposed to? Are
-there many of them, or are they nearly extinct? What if we said they became extinct before recoms arrived, but their ruins and artifacts remain?
