The Ghueri are an organized crime group based in the city of Epiphyte in the [[Lopanga Confederacy]]. Their activities, such as protection rackets and smuggling, are thoroughly integrated into the life of the city. One might argue that, along with the [[Seventh Wave]] and the [[Kemetic Church]], the Ghueri contribute to the stability of this largely lawless town. The Ghueri only permit natives of Epiphyte to become full members.
